Local Progress National Convening, 2023

Local Progress is a movement of local elected officials fighting for racial and economic justice through local communities. The national convening is a weekend of strategy, peer learning, site visits, and more. I was fortunate enough to capture an amazing three days of power-building and exchange of ideas through speakers, breakout sessions, site visits, and more!

St. Charles Jewish Festival, 2023

The St. Charles Jewish Festival is an annual celebration of Jewish life and culture in St. Charles, Missouri. The festival is filled with activities for children, music, delicious food, and more. It was such a delight to photograph the 3rd festival, which was a testament to the work and community-building happening in our region. The dancing and children enjoying the day were some of my favorite parts to photograph.

St. Louis Community Credit Union

I have been working with St. Louis Community Credit Union since 2021 to capture photographs of clients who have offered testimonials of the important work that they do in the community. I love capturing each person or family and getting to hear about why the organization has had an impact on their lives.

Goldy Day Festival with the Community School

This sweet celebration of community was a fun event to capture! From face-painting to snow cones, it was delightful as a photographer to capture the relationships that make Community School so special. I have also gotten to photograph other events for them, including plays, speakers, and more.

Neighborhood Leadership Fellows

Neighborhood Leadership Fellows “increases and amplifies the voices of North St. Louis City and County residents at the civic decision-making tables in order to produce more equitable regional policies for neighborhoods.” The coolest part about this project was being able to photograph residents in the very neighborhoods in which they work.
