Dayana’s Quinceañera, 2024

Dayana’s Quinceañera was a beautiful coming-of-age celebration for this stunning fifteen-year-old. Not only did she look absolutely gorgeous in her gown, but her aunt, grandma, and mother put a lot of love into making her day extra special, from her jewelry to the celebration meal to a mariachi band at the church. We had fun with getting ready photos, making a pit-stop at shake shack, and taking beautiful portraits in Forest Park.

Awkward Family Photos

When I got the opportunity to do ‘Awkward Family Photos’ for a group of five siblings, I had no idea how fun it was going to be. They got together on a Saturday morning to create a set of photos for their parents’ wedding anniversary. It was a hilarious session and fun to edit ‘90s-style afterward. I think they nailed it!

Christmas Mini Sessions, 2022

The very fist mini sessions I did were Christmas themed. This year, I upgraded my lighting equipment, invested in some photoshop skill-learning, and got creative with a new backdrop! Our neighbors had a few old fence pieces they were going to use for firewood that I snagged for a central part of the backdrop. I added ornaments and greenery and a few more Christmas props. My favorite part, but the messiest part, is always the snow for people who choose to use it.

Valentine’s Mini Sessions, 2022

Valentine’s mini-sessions were a sweet way to capture all kinds of special relationships. I was getting a little stir crazy with the winter weather, and wanted to create a fun backdrop. After looking online at hundreds of ideas, I found this backdrop from Designlovefest and knew it was it. You can check out my behind the scenes on instagram!

Flying Pig Marathon, October 2020

When the pandemic hit, I was still scheduled to run the Flying Pig Half marathon with my friend Evie. It was going to be her very first half. As the date continued to get pushed back, she decided to set up and run her own ‘Flying Pig’ half here in St. Louis with her good friend Leslie. Her wife and friends combined efforts, pulling together the ultimate experience, complete with surprise pig costumes.

Goodbye St. Louis Tour, July 2021

A photoshoot around the city was an important way to mark goodbyes to a city that had become an important part of Jillian’s journey. I asked her to come up with a list of places that had significance to her, we narrowed it down, and were able to capture some beautiful visual mementos of her time in St. Louis before heading off to her next adventure.

32nd Birthday Shoot, March 2022

Bridget brought some gorgeous ideas and props to this 32nd photoshoot, and we were able to make some magic happen! I loved her style, ideas (thanks pintrest), and confidence, which came through in the gorgeous pictures.
